COLE, Dennis – Suddenly on December 15, 2009, in his 81st year, at his residence in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Beloved husband for 55 years to Mary. Father of David, and Robert (Kim). Loving Papa to Scott and Emily, and special “Papa” to Andrew. Brother of Gladys and Clifford, of the U.K. Dennis will be missed by his best friend and faithful dog, Carter. Special thanks to all the nurses and fellow patients at the Hotel Dieu Dialysis Unit for their kindness and support over the past 3 years. We know Dennis deeply valued the friendships he had forged over the years, especially through work and his favorite pastime of golf. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, Niagara-on-the-Lake. At Dennis’ request there will be no funeral service. A private gathering of family and friends to celebrate Dennis’ life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Hotel Dieu Dialysis Unit.
