New scam going around about a fake Facebook promotion prize
With people out of work, struggling to get by, frustration over essential versus non-essential businesses, and other stresses right now, you'd hope scammers would let up for a while. Of course, the scamming business is full steam ahead. A woman reached out to FOX26 warning about a new one going around. Regina Badillo got a message saying she'd won a promotion for something like half a million dollars.
18 Apr 2020 ... "Randomly texted me, saying that, out of all the people on Facebook, I was the lucky winner to win and everything. Which I thought was BS.".
