Men's Basketball Opens Home Slate Versus Aki Thomas' Alma Mater, Howard, on Tuesday Night
After three road contests, UMBC will open its 13-game home slate on Tuesday, Nov. 25 when they host Howard University at the RAC Arena. Head Coach Aki Thomas earned his degree from Howard in 2002 and becomes UMBC’s first Division I head mentor to coach against his alma mater. Tip-off time is set for 7:35 p.m., or 30 minutes after the Retriever women conclude their contest versus Towson. Gary Stein and Paul Mittermeier have all the play-by-play action on (Q1370 AM ,www.q1370.com),starting with the pregame show at 7:25 p.m.
