Facebook Unveils Free Tool Enabling Creators To Test Video Post Performance Before Publishing - Tubefilter

Facebook is launching a nifty new tool for video makers that will live within its Creator Studio --  a mobile and web platform that enables creators to publish, manage, and track their content. The new tool will allow creators to test different iterations of the same post against one another to determine which will perform best across Facebook with respect to a number of different metrics. Creators can now A/B test all aspects of a post’s creative, Facebook says, including the actual video asset, headlines, descriptions, and thumbnails. Creators then select the metric that they are most interested in maximizing -- be it most 1-minute video views or most comments -- and initiate the test. The tool functions by showing each post -- creators can text a max of four at the same time -- to a subset of users in their News and Watch feeds for a specified amount of time, without actually publishing the post to users' Pages.
