How to claim&merge an unofficial Facebook page in 5 steps
When visitors check in on Facebook, but did not find your Facebook page yet, an unofficial page will be automatically generated. This first visitor creates a new (duplicate) Facebook page and is therefore labelled as "unofficial page".
22 Jan 2016 ... When I do visit Facebook from the Netherlands I do not have the option to claim the page. It only states: "Located in Amsterdam, Netherlands".
