6.2 User ID and Password Creation
Program administrators can add users in E-Verify. Upon being initially registered by the program administrator, users receive an email with a user ID and initial password. E-Verify will prompt users to change the initial password for security purposes. Users must not share their passwords with other users. Each user must have his or her own user ID and password. Passwords are case-sensitive and must be between 8-14 characters, different from the assigned user ID, changed every 90 days, and have the following characteristics:
