Mary lsabel Watson was born in Ituna, SK. on August 17, 1913, and died June 14, 2011 in Melville, SK. Isabel was a primary school teacher in various small Saskatchewan towns before she came to Melville where she taught at Miller School until she retired in 1973. She was very involved in First United Church, Melville, and was Sunday School Superintendent for several years. Isabel was also a recipient of the Canada Centennial Medal in 1967. She was predeceased by her parents, John Angus and Christena M. (nee Gordon) Watson; her sisters Grace Howe and Jessie May, and her brother, Gordon Watson. She is survived by her nieces Jane Ernst of Calgary, Madelyn Toews of Medicine Hat, Christine Howe of Ottawa and Diane Watson of Regina; and her nephews Thomas Howe of Hamilton and Greg Watson of Vancouver.
