Internet Activists Anonymous Hack Westboro Baptist Church Facebook Page
The extreme Westboro Baptist Church have found themselves yet again victims to the online Robin Hood and his merry band: Anonymous. The Church's Facebook page has been taken over with Anonymous's usual wit and flair, and now lists the Church's leaders as Anonymous, Marilyn Manson, and Captain Crunch. The content of the page has become a trove of progressive, hipster goodness, with posts lauding Anonymous as modern day anarchist heros in the same vein as V for Vendetta. Photos have been posted with quotes from famous liberal and tolerate leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and the Dali Lama, as well as a video tribute to Aaron Schwartz. Hilarious memes poking fun at the hypocrisy of the Westboro Baptist Church now litter the page, including one of the Star Trek cast with the caption "Jesus loves everyone, you should have expected us."
