Update: Judge denies dismissal of charges against Chattanooga activists
UPDATE (Friday, September 4th): Judge Gary Starnes has officially recused himself from hearing the protesters' cases. See the latest here. UPDATE (Tuesday, September 1st): Marie Mott, Cameron Williams and several other Chattanooga activists appeared in Hamilton County Sessions Court Tuesday afternoon to answer to the charges for the July 9th incident, including theft, vandalism, inciting a riot and reckless burning. Some are also facing obstruction charges for blocking a Chattanooga street.
