Facebook disabled some Messenger features in Europe. Here's an (incomplete) list.
The disabled features are likely coming back very soon.
17 Dec 2020 ... Oddly, even though I've seen the warning message in both Instagram and Facebook, I was still able to create a poll in Messenger, for example.
