Last year, the Federal Cartel Office (FCO) took issue with Facebook’s extensive data collection and required the company to change its business model. Both the decision and Facebook’s victory in appeal proceedings 6 months later made headlines in the national and international media. A surprising twist in the saga – Episode III – the Federal Court of Justice has now confirmed the FCO decision: Enforcement Strikes Back.
