Mrs. Mandy Meyer

I always knew I was meant to be a teacher... In 1999, I graduated from Temple University, where I earned my degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Upon graduation, I taught second and fifth grades in Abington School District for about three years. In 2002, my husband (Mr. Meyer) and I moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on the other side of the world for the next five years. I relocated to Cambodia to create a pre-school program in an orphanage. I also developed various skills training programs for older orphans and others in the community. However, my pride and joy from my work in Cambodia is the bilingual school I founded with a team of educators who had a similar vision of wanting to improve education for Cambodian children.  We returned from Cambodia in 2007, and I taught first grade for the School District of Cheltenham Township.
