Barbara Ann McLaughlin - December 12, 2012
Barbara Ann McLaughlin, 80, of Meadows St., Clinton, NY, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Harding Nursing Home, Waterville, NY, She was born June 28, 1932 in Utica, a daughter of Harold John and Helen Harrington McLaughlin. She was a graduate of Oriskany Falls High School and attended Cortland State College. Barbara worked for the U.S. State Department in Washington D.C, and did foreign service in Israel and Bangkok, Thailand. She was an avid reader. Barbara was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Clinton, and St. Joseph’s Church in Oriskany Falls. Surviving are her special friend Judy Homer; and three nieces, Sheila McLaughlin and Eileen Ford, of MA; and Elizabeth McLaughlin of ME. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard McLaughlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday, December 17, 2012 from St. Joseph’s Church, Oriskany Falls. Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Waterville in the spring.
