Tina Brown slammed Facebook as a "vulture" on journalism and called President Trump a "con man" during an interview on Cheddar Monday. The former top editor of "Vanity Fair" and "The New Yorker" said Facebook has "destroyed the business model for journalism" and plunged the U.S. into a "democratic crisis." She said the media giant should "absolutely" be regulated by governments and "held accountable when it publishes false, damaging, or scurrilous content." Brown also recalled knowing Trump when he was a young New York real estate developer in the 1980s. While she said he was "entertaining" and "fun" in those days, there was a "darkening" of his character as his real estate business struggled. "I think that he's the best in the business at simply selling a con," she said.
