Facebook scam leaves Hanford mother out $1,000 just before Christmas
A Hanford woman is now out $1,000 thanks to a team of scammers who she says coordinated to trick her into giving up her hard-earned cash. That woman says she came to a Western Union to transfer money three separate times in a single day, spending hours there in total, but no one at the bank ever warned her about scams, or asked her if there was anything wrong.
